Bridge $ELON to XRP Ledger
Dogelon Mars is colonizing the solar system. $ELON is on Ethereum, BNB, Cronos, Solana, Polygon, and Fuse. Recently, $ELON bridged to Bitcoin via the Runes protocol. That means $ELON is now on SEVEN blockchains—seven planets in crypto space hosting Dogelon colonies. But the solar system has EIGHT planets (sorry, Pluto). Which crypto planet lies beyond our borders—but within our grasp?
XRP Ledger.
You are probably familiar with $XRP. It is the native cryptocurrency of XRP Ledger, a lightning-fast blockchain that has caught the eye of large financial institutions for use as a payment system. Unfortunately, the software company that developed XRP Ledger, Ripple, has been bogged down by SEC litigation. But with Donald Trump’s inauguration and Gary Gensler’s departure on the horizon, the future is looking bright for the blockchain. $XRP’s market cap has catapulted from $30 billion to over $150 billion. $XRP now has the third largest market cap in the crypto market—even more than stablecoins like Tether. And this may just be the beginning.
XRP Ledger is poised to become a global settlement system. Multinational banks, central banks, and other financial institutions are partnering with Ripple to use XRP Ledger as their payment service. Seeing this, Bitwise, Canary Capital, 21Shares, and WisdomTree have all filed for a Spot XRP ETF. With Trump’s nomination of pro-crypto Paul Atkins as SEC chairman, there is a realistic chance an XRP ETF will be approved. All this means more activity on XRP Ledger and more attention to cryptocurrencies on the blockchain.
We’ve been here before. In Q4 2023, $SOL absolutely exploded and now has one of the highest market caps in crypto. What did Dogelon Mars do? We bridged to Solana, where we have recently seen massive trading volume of $ELON. On some days when Solana memes are trending, 90% of $ELON trading volume comes from transactions on Raydium. Bridging to popular blockchains has proved to be an excellent strategy to attract attention to Dogelon Mars. With $XRP’s ascendence, this is an opportune time to bridge to XRP Ledger and ride the wave before we miss it.
Other reasons for XRP.
XRP has a very high level of public exposure. Recently, 60 Minutes interviewed the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, who defended cryptocurrency to an audience of millions of viewers. Garlinghouse will be making further media appearances to make the case for cryptocurrency to the public. As a result, Google searches for XRP have surged. People have searched XRP about 10 times more than Solana. We do not know for sure if this trend will continue, but we know that XRP Ledger has a clear use-case in the real world that has caught the interest of extremely deep pockets.
XRP also has massive following. Ripple has 2.8 million followers on X and 352,000 followers on Linkedin. On YouTube, content creators and influencers regularly cover XRP, with videos garnering hundreds of thousands of views within a day. Supporters of XRP may also support projects in the broader XRP Ledger ecosystem, such as memecoins bridged to the blockchain.
Finally, XRP has a quickly growing memecoin space that has plenty of room for growth. XRP memecoins like ARMY surged 10,000% last week, becoming the largest memecoin on the blockchain at around $100 million market cap. That is smaller than Dogelon Mars’s market cap, but XRP memes are just getting started. Dogelon Mars has a chance to enter a new and exciting memecoin space that is not yet oversaturated and is set to explode with the value of $XRP. The earlier Dogelon Mars can bridge to XRP Ledger, the sooner we can carve our place in the XRP memecoin space and ride $XRP’s success.
A Martian colony on XRP would not be the end of our expansion. Once we finish colonizing this last crypto planet in our solar system, we can set out to forge a truly galactic empire (ICP or AVAX anyone?).
Dogelon to the Mars!
